How big of an issue is that really?

Found, what seems to be, a decent deal on a new moon sapphire sandwich speedy. It's a full kit, w/ AD warranty card from Jan 19. BUT the bracelet is 7.5"... well... my wrist is just over 8" ... whammy....

Are extra links readily available? Cost prohibitive?

This would be my first Omega.... So, please excuse me if this is a super "no duh" type question..

Links are available from any OB and also come up quite a bit for sale in used sections. Since I'm not familiar will all bracelets I'm not sure if there are rare versions out there where getting extra links would be difficult.

Edit: if it was a new watch purchased in 2019 then that moon bracelet is common so links will be available easily. I say go for it.

Standard extension links are available for round about 41€ in Germany (steel bracelet). It is not expensive, go for the watch.

With vintage watches buying a bracelet that's too small is tricky, since the extra links might not be available. With a relatively modern watch, you'll be fine

I will be sure to post pics when it arrives.

Connieseamaster: It's a 2018/2019 model, so, no vintage here. I think I should be good to go.. Just need to source 3 links.

Ideas anyone? An OB/AD is an obvious place, but other options, or just best to go with a known commodity?

I'd ask around here and search the classifieds. Not that they are ridiculously overpriced but you could score em cheaper and since most people take em off right away you'll probably find used ones that are mint condition.

I just searched here and Ebay. Nothing here that I found in a quick search (that wasn't already sold) Ebay prices were ridiculous or the parts weren't genuine. I'd say just run to the OB and order it up. If money isnt a thang, grab a folding clasp while you're there too so you have options in the future.

Compared to the price of the watch a few extra links is chump change. Have the dealer get them for you, they might even cut you some slack on the price as a courtesy. I would have made that part of the condition of sale. Don't make it difficult, there is a simple solution.
