    i had a few of these over the years. that shape and oblong shape as well. rectangular from turkey. great pieces ! kind regards. achim

    That wire & the fixings look like the static rigging hardware from a small/medium dinghy to me. Well up to the job. :cool:

    I might want something of greater section on a Sydney Harbour 18ft Skiff though

    Thanks a lot for the compliment. Omega was already a great brand before the Seamaster - Constellation - Speedmaster era. I wish more people had interest in pre-1950 watches. There is very limited, and less and less information available, probably because of this lack of interest. For me it is important to collect and share the very small amount of info I have on this period.
