My apologies for speaking my mind Dsio and voicing my opinion. There seems to be a limit to the amount of posts one person can make per thread. Second time I have been silenced in two weeks. First time was because I posted too many times on the Archie luxury thread and I was not even all out supporting the guy. My comments are passionately aimed at helping the OP. I speak from experience and was in a similar situation myself. It led to me kidding myself and selling a great watch that I regretted years later.

To the OP you asked about it getting better. Watches break in over the first few months and slow down slightly. Odds are your watch will settle around 2 seconds. At least that is the old wives tail and what people are referencing.

No reason to regulate it at this point, also what the tech most likely meant.

As far the descendant thing goes, maybe? I know the name goes back at least eight generations based on the version of my family tree that I have, but who knows before that.

It's the CLA 250. The poor man's Mercedes, but I like it.

The honey brown is actually the lighter brown strap, The one in the picture I posted in this thread is more of a darker brown.

Sorry Chief but the OP put his case forward over and over again. In my attempt to help him I put my case forward again and again. On second thoughts I will speak my mind as many times as I like and I see fit. Why not? looking at previous posts others have done the same. Last time I checked we live in a free speaking democracy or does this forum work by another set of rules? I hope not, most people on here are very nice and supportive even if things get heated at times. If you don't respect my democratic liberty I am sure you will delete me and my messages from the forum. All I tried to do was help the OP with free sincere practical advice.

Thanks for your reply. What do you mean by "it will get better with time"?

I asked omega if they can regulate it but they highly dont recommend it if my watch is running within spec.

It needs a little.runnkng to find itself....

In Amy event as you and all agree it runs to spec and you like it so now you can enjoy it. You don't always get an overwhelming consensus on anything but I think this thread is as close to it as possible. 😀

Some of us live in free speaking democracies and some of us don't. The "Internet" is not a free speaking democracy. Neither is a bulletin board or forum. It is actually private property, where the owners of each website are allowed and expected to set forth some sort of rules of decorum. Those rules will vary from website to website.

If you think we are oppressive here, please try out any of the dozens of other watch forums on the internet. I think you'll find them a lot less amused by your tone than we are.

However, we all have limits...😉

And a side note. Freedom of speech does not extend to the Internet. Same as it does not apply to someone in your home. You can say what you want but I can ask you to leave because of it.

Claiming freedom of speech on a forum that you do not own is a pretty stupid thing to say IMHO.

I run large scale Internet forums for a living, supporting millions of users a day in the video game industry. If I had a penny for every time someone tried to claim that....

If you do get a print out it should tell you which position the watch runs the slowest in. Try letting it rest in this position at night.

This forum is an absolute dictatorship...no one get's elected, there's a boss, there are a few generals and then there's jail and torture...Rumour has it the forum elders also own a soccer team and they torture the players when they loose matches....but it may just be a rumor

Anyway, not a democracy...just a privately owned Forum. Let's not got to the UN council on this.
