Hornets and Globemasters are in town practicing between the buildings again for Riverfire. I used to live in a tower right on the river and we’d be looking down from the roof onto them as they went by. Really great fireworks show along with it but seeing the fat boy appear and disappear between skyscrapers looks amazing.

The flights are actually mostly over the river and clearances are strictly enforced and tightly controlled.
The pilots know that if they break the rules at these events, the next thing they'll be flying will be wooden.

Used to fish in a canoe 🛶 in Sydney near Richmond RAAF base where they flew the old Hercules as training. Some flight’s coming in we would think. ((FARK that’s low and slow))

There was definitely a few bum clenches going on in the Herc’s over time.
