No more Pictogram Cards?

Hi all. I've just come across someone on Facebook who posted that when he bought a new Omega recently he didn't get a Pictogram card as part of the package. He only got the Warranty card and Master Chronometer certificate card. According to his AD, this change started in Q3 of 2025. Can anyone else on this forum with recent purchases confirm if this is true? This info could help collectors in the future in case they think that the card is missing. Thanks in advance for your replies.

PS- I think it's a shame, as I found it fun deciphering the symbols on the cards 馃槉

There was no pictogram card in my Speedmaster box, purchased new from a boutique in Q1 2025. Only the warranty card and Master Chronometer card. There was also no printed instruction manual.

What should you get following a service? I got my seamaster back from service last month and didn鈥檛 get any kind of card with it (only a printed receipt).

I always thought the pictogram cards were dumb. So is the METAS card. Just issue the warranty card.

Omega doesn't have a consistent service warranty card. It depends by country. In the U.S. it's a paper card (like a business card) but it doesn't have the serial number of the watch on it or when the warranty begins or ends. In Japan it's a laminated card that has the serial number and shows when the warranty begins and ends. I bought an Omega out of Sweden that had been serviced by their Swedish OSC and all it had was a service receipt. On the watch from Sweden I contacted Omega in the USA and they confirmed it was a valid warranty and would be honored (if needed) in the USA.

This was my Speedmaster experience as well.

Same for Europe with the red laminated card, at least when I got my A11 50SS repaired in 2023.

I just bought a Speedmaster Professional this month and it didn't have the pictogram card. Bought it new from grey dealer in Japan with a 6/2025 warranty card. My salesperson said it no longer came with them from Omega. Later I searched around to be sure and found quite a few folks had the same experience. Somewhere on this Omega forum I had found this Omega card/manual transition plan document that confirmed no more pictogram cards. This slide states 2025 Q3 but that could be end date and may be country specific. Bottom line is it looks like they phased them out and not getting on is part of their planning to go more digital.

Continental Europe, I did mention it happened in '23 so things might have changed.

That's just the way the world is going, eliminating paper/plastic, sometimes with the explanation that they are being more sustainable. Just cost savings all around. Pictogram card was always a weird animal, not really necessary. Owner's Manual wasn't much better, too much paper to cover the actual watch in question.

MEtES makes sense to get. Pictogram was always silly.

Just to muddy the waters further, my Seamaster Aqua Terra Master Coaxial from 2018 (purchased second hand in 2023) had a Warranty Card and Pictogram card but no Chronometer Certificate card. At the time I thought it was unusual as my SMP from 2005 had all 3 cards. I was almost ready to contact the vendor when I noticed that other watches from that era listed as "full set" lacked the COSC Chronometer certificate. Again, I wonder when Omega stopped including it?

Hesalite Moonwatch purchased 12/2025 included international warranty, master chronometer, and pictograms cards, manual, and Speedmaster history book. Green SMP purchased 11/2022 included the same, no history book. There's probably many out there with the same as older stock is sold.

I don't think they have stopped including it, at least for the newer METAS certified watches. If you don't have the Master Chronometer card there is no way you can access the official METAS results for your watch because the card has its unique Access Number, so if you don't have that number you are out of luck. To me part of the value of the watch, especially when you sell it, is inclusion of the Master Chronometer card which allows any owner to access and confirm the original testing status. And if you download a .pdf file for your watch it clearly states that the .pdf certificate is only valid if you have the Master Chronometer card as well.

I think there are some cards left so some watches will include them for some time. I think it matters what country, too, perhaps. My October 2025 (purchased in December) Moonwatch had all the cards.
