Your 815 Long Playing is killer. Underrated watch IMO - I was the underbidder on one a month ago and it still hurts.

Agreed. They don't seem to attract much chatter or attention, perhaps due to the cam-actuated Chrono movement. But they deserve more praise. Mine is a fav in the collection.

Here’s my vintage B. Got it for my 21st almost 25 years back. Just serviced last year and still going fine.

I’ve had a number of 2000 era Superoceans and (my fave) steelfish. My current fave would be the Seawolf, but it’s just too big. If it were reduced it would be a perfect tool watch for me.

I have a lot of love for their vintage pieces but CVC Capital partners owning them scares the hell out of me, as it would any F1 fan

Any Superocean Heritage II owners here? Have been eying the blue and copper models as good, no-nonsense dress divers.

I have had two Breitling watches over the years. I still have one ( bottom image ), but, it doesn't get much wrist time and that is something I should definitely consider changing.

Here is my one vintage piece. Would love to find a mark I version in reverse panda to go with it but finding these that aren’t frankens are tough.

I keep looking at the *10050's either steel A or gold B. I was planning on asking SWMBO (She Who Must Be Obeyed) for one last year for our wedding anniversary but at the last minute I spotted the modern Transocean Day Date and that was that.

I'm also keeping an eye out for a 1950s Transocean Date B126, its older sibling and missed out on one in the private sales recently ::facepalm2::

I've only had one Breitling in my collection and that only happened last year when I picked up a Ref 806 Re-edition of a 1959 model, a lot of attention was made to make it very faithful to that model. It has a pretty nice modern manual column wheel movement, COSC rated. I like Breitling's history, but just never had the desire to pick one up. I probably won't be buying any more Breitling's.

nice one! Really love lugs on mk 1. Think these are really undervalued watches but finding good ones are so damn hard.

There's one that's been sitting on Chrono24 for a little while that might have some potential. Polished lugs, wrong crown, lack of case back and movement pictures, but nice looking dial. There was also a decent looking one on ChronoTrader about two months ago that is probably gone but you could inquire. PM me if you'd like links.

I feel like I've seen more of them come up for sale this year than in prior years, though most have been in poor condition.

Yup, saw those. Chrono24 seems a bit much for what is there. Appreciate the help.

I remember seeing this particular model on Harry Connick Jr's wrist when he was a judge on American Idol a few years back. I always thought the dial was remarkable. I have never seen one in the wild. Just curious... what is your reaction to the Transocean Chronograph?

I've owned a Navitimer and quite like the Co-Pilot Re-edition (but not so much at CAD 10k) as well as the Superocean 57, though not crazy about some of the details:

Agreed. Been lucky enough to have an original 765 AVI but that rainbow superocean is quite a looker as well.
