I prefer the black dial. Also, for me at least, a Milgauss with a colorless crystal is missing a critical element.

Can’t go wrong with either but I like white.

Black with the green sapphire is the winning combo. I own one of these and the green sapphire gets as many if not more compliments than my speedies.

I like the green sapphire but I find it's a little bit too green for my tastes. when not in direct light, the entire dial just looks green

I have the Z-Blue, so obviously that would be my first choice. But between the white and black, I'd get the white.

The dial really doesn’t look green at all, it’s just the edge since the sapphire sits proud of the bezel. You end up with a gorgeous sharp green highlight.

Minority opinion here but the white/pumpkin works so much better imo. I'm also a fan of white dials so my opinion is probably biased.

Really enjoy my milgauss. I wear it on its original steel or sometimes on carbon fiber black leather with green stitching.

It's your own choice obviously. I'd go for black, and try and source a white dial. You could have it changed every year or so. There is a guy on you tube who did it with the explorer 2 white and black dials.

Black all the way.

Interesting thread as I have also wrestled with these options for about a year now. I would take the white over black in the comparison as I think the orange pops well, a “Summer” watch of sorts as my polar Explorer II was.

The z-blue is gorgeous though, tough choices. Look forward to seeing your decision @guaranteed.rohu

Black is stealty and pretty boring. Green is fugly. White is classy and will be the best investment of the three atmo.

+1 for the white dial. I have too many black dial watches, including a Sub. But the matte finish is way better than the glossy black.

Have you considered the blue dial? I would probably rank blue, then black, then white. Great looking piece though

I keep going back to this conundrum in my own head as I’m fairly certain a new Milgauss is coming for Basel. And whichever (if any) of these get discontinued I think we see a shift in pricing.

Should be interesting!

Can't go wrong with the black dial. It's more versatile 😉
