The aged lume on the hands and dials is pretty nice and goes well with the dial. There is something to be said about aging gracefully.

That is a nice catch. It looks like the case gasket may be the original...you will have to save it in a Ziploc bag with oxygen scavengers for posterity so that it can be analyzed and remanufactured in the future(I am kidding). I don't seek out brown dials myself, but this one has what could comfortably be called patina.
