I'm finding it really hard to believe that you honestly don't understand what you've done, but just in case, let me state it plainly. In your listing, you claim that it is a 145.022-69, which is patently untrue. It is from 1984 according to the movement serial number, which is vastly different than "-69" and has a dramatically lower value.

·So, to clear my name... I had no idea the crapstorm I was flying into, I should list as a ST145.022 with a 1968 transitional dial. Guys, seriosly, give a guy a little room to fix a mistake before you hang him up on a wire. Everybody's upset I'm trying to make a profit. I'm sorry that upsets you but if you want to sell me your watches at wholesale, I'm interested. I don't want to be ungrateful for the help and guidance. I am new to this hobby and hoped to find some friends and like-minded people. I am not a cheat and/or a liar and obviously, there's plenty of documentation on this watch at this point so I don't get why anybody thinks I'm trying to pull a fast one. Honest mistake because my original description on /Watchexchange was confusing people.

·I originally had all of that explained and people were confused if I was selling the dial by itself, if the watch matched the dial, if I was selling an 80s watch without a dial... seriously 25 messages and then texts, etc. I was just trying to simplify the description, not hide anything.
I am jumping to the lying stealing dirtbag conclusion. He is told in no uncertain terms that it is a 80s or 90s watch with some interesting parts so then tries to sell it as something it is not. It is great when the dishonest out themselves so readily.

·Sorry, but that explanation doesn't ring true to me. There is nothing "69" about that watch. "-69" can refer to the last pre-moon reference and is particularly collectible compared to later models. Combined with the way you priced the watch, and some of the things you said in your initial thread, there seems to be a weak connection with truth.

·You are entitled to your opinion. I will repost as I can't edit the title. I'm 3 days into Speedmaster land and you guys spend hours figuring this stuff out, debating, buying $250 tablebooks (which I have purchased but not yet received) and you can't believe I made an honest mistake. Dan, you were one of the first to give your opinion and help me figure out what I had. I have upset you and I am sorry. I don't know how else to explain that I was not trying to be deceptive.
I appreciate the fact that you came back to this thread to explain, and that you will fix your listing.

··Oooo subtitles!Hmm I am now willing to be a little more charitable and admit that I maybe jumped to the wrong conclusion but I am still a bit perplexed about where you got the jump to -69 from. That aside, edit your listings and move forward. You do have a desirable thing but you need to be careful you are fully honest and acuurate.

·You guys can be upset I'm "instaflipping" for profit, I get it. But we need to back up the bus on me deceptive. Do you REALLY think that a small community of online Speedmaster fans weren't glued into what I had? I knew you were because I've had conversations with many of you via PMs here and on reddit. Do you think I'd pull a fast move and try to sell it for something it was not with so much exposure?
I originally had this description on /Watchexchange that I found on my clipboard:
"Runs and keeps great time, can provide a video if it's helpful. All sub dials work and reset properly from my inspection. I've been wearing it for over 24 hours, minus time to take off the caseback for pictures and no issues.
This was a purchase from a local shop that was a little bit of a gamble but turned out. Only reason I want to move is because I would rather have a Broad Arrow Speedmaster and/or move the cash on to some other pieces. I'd rather have somebody who appreciates this patina monster for what it is.
So, after much research and help from some online friends, we have confirmed that what she is a 1984 145.022-69, all original minus a service bezel from the 90's AND the icing on the cake, the previous collector set a super rare 1968 transitional dial on it that is SUPER clean. I've seen less quality dials go for $2,500+ so this one could rocket... not a lot of these out there as they are for the 861 movement.
I could part this one out, selling the dial separately and then getting the time correct dial and bezel BUT I'm first throwing this out to see if anybody want to bite for this package as is. The case and bracelet look fairly untouched/polished but have some wear. I haven't done any cleaning as I would leave that to the buyer based on their preferences. The crystal has some scratches but nothing deep and would polish out if the buyer so desired to restore.
No papers or box but pictures should tell the deal.
What I'm looking for is a Broad Arrow, specifically the 145.0222 or the 3551.50.00. BUT I'm open to whatever trades, +/- cash offers that might arise. My aesthetic preferences are steel and darker dials but I'm open to anything interesting. I've done a couple deals on here and can provide my eBay username if desired to verify 100% feedback.

·I am withholding judgment bit I will say this: speedmaster minutiae like caseback models and dots over 90s seem obvious to OF watch nerds but would be considered minor confusing points to normal people. Perhaps a 2nd chance could be granted?
