I just bought a new Seiko SKA013. It's my first new watch, maybe second. Most of mine are vintage Omega, Doxa, and the like with leather straps. I didn't like this at first but it's growing on me. The watch wears smaller than it is because of the tapered strap and narrow dial and short hands. I kind of wish I went with a 39 to 40mm watch- it would have opened up Squale, Steinhart, and others. its running about +4 sec/day, but I'm gonna see if I can tighten that up, but it's well within spec. Not bad for an entry level Seiko movement! It's killing me I can't hack it. I may upgrade in the near future and play with other mods.
