I like that they still keep some classic design in the modern models

I love this watch. I hope I can pick one up for my 40th bday. For me it is already expensive and at the top of my budget, but I would like to have a watch that would last for a long time. IMO it has modern tech with timeless design. So far I have seen the silver dial version on bracelet but I am waiting for the darker one.

I'm with you on this but even this is too plain for me..
What do I think? I think they did it better here

I think the watch has some really nice design elements (case, crown, seconds hand, case back) and needs to be seen in person to evaluate it fully. There are also elements which could be tweaked (maybe the dial layout, hour and minute hands) to suit one's own preferences.

Out of curiosity I would love to have seen the actual design process for this one and some of the alternate designs which would have been on the drawing board.

I tried it on at my AD...in photos I hated the cross hairs on the dial. In person it did not stand our nearly as much and blended into the overall aesthetic quite nicely. Others have said it but you definitely need to see it in person to appreciate it.

Just one of those watches that looks horrible under artificial light in photos. I absolutely loved it when I tried it on.

I have not seen one in person yet, but this looks fantastic to me. Good size, clean lines, the hands and markers looks great, and a wonderful case. The texture on the dial looks good too. What’s not to like?

Just visited a boutique in Vienna, Austria. They had the black one on strap and bracelet as well. The watch looks different in real life then on the pics so before anyone makes a decision it is a must to see it in person. Personally I love it.

I tried one on last week at an OB and loved it - maybe not the fabric strap so much - but the watch is very nice. It might be my next Omega - waiting to see what emerges at Baselworld first.

I couldn't resist the black one on bracelet. The dial has amazing colour variations in the light!

Been waiting to see this in (on?) the flesh - love the crown and lollipop hand, nice choice of colours, vertical brushing works well. Fabric strap for a tool watch looks good also. Was thinking it would look great with a larger triangle at 12, especially as it’s called a Seamaster, but I’m not sure...I’ll wait til I see it up close

Don’t care for the numeral font.

I mean, let’s be real

Was at the boutique earlier today, dropping off my bracelet to be polished up. Saw the railmaster case, with a giant poster of the Crawford boy next to it.

Kind of took away from the watch setup. Kind of sad that’s how they wanted to market this one.

maybe next time I’ll try it on, but it did not grab me one bit, not even a can I try it on bit.

IMO apart from the crosshairs I think it looks great. Personally dig the lolipop seconds hand

I find it superb, I actually prefer it to the Re-issue RM. the dark dial version checks every box. It's not impersonating any previous models, has a modern movement, but keeps some elements of tradition.

It's on my list!

I have to say , as many have mentioned , they do look better on real life. I’m changing my opinion !
