Take it easy. First, your friend and you should learn to distinguish between c shape and tonneau shape.
Don’t change the subject, you imply you have knowledge of the background to the Omega use of Ts. Put up or shut up.

What has C-case and tonneau got to do with the number of T’s on a dial? In fact no one’s mentioned anything about C-case or tonneau in this thread.

Thanks - can you let me know where I can buy an equivalent watch for less that $270USD? I need to start sourcing parts.
So I guess I didn’t overpay then.

Well you’ll spend more most weekends on a meal so i assume it’s not the end of the world. But, I wouldn’t have bought it.
It’s fair enough having an aged dial as a cheap daily wearer but the bezel is a big deal breaker for me. The crystal won’t be secure without it and it’s simply not economical to have one made. I’d much rather pay slightly more for one with a bezel but if you’re happy with it, who cares.

Thanks Davidt I was trying to reply to the poster that said I overpaid - I did ask them where I can get similar watches for a similar price - but no reply so I’m assuming it’s not possible to buy watches of a similar quality in the $400AUD mark.
I like the watch, I’ve got other modern Omegas but this (from my research) was well cheaper than any other vintage omegas by a long shot.

I’d be interested in similar priced watches, but can’t seem to find any.

So 400 Aus is around £200 GBP.

You’re right you won’t get much for that price, although occasionally something will go on eBay for around £250/AUD500.
However, if you add a little more to it and get to £300-400 you get to the stage where with a bit of patience you can find some lovely watches.

I’ve sold both these, complete and original in the last year for less than £400.

You were so right, dear friend. It's not worth it. Wish you were here.

For the aficionados, good luck with your deals and have a nice day.

I recently bought a watch knowingly with a missing bezel as well so the issue is on my mind, I think the easiest solution is to get a jeweller make a bezel
