路Hi all. I acquired this watch recently which I think is worth sharing and most importantly, getting your opinions. My fascination with gold continues after acquiring my first 18k watch, this Seamaster which this forum helped. This time it's also a 18k, but if my eyes don't lie, in rose gold.
It's an Omega 2660, 38mm, with a cal. 342. Serial in the 131xxxxx range that puts it in 1952. I think it's in amazing condition and that's what attracted me the most. Case has probably seen some polishing, but nothing terrible. Dial is a stunning honeycomb, dauphine hands, a combination of arrow and block markers, and an unusual trident at 12 o'clock.
Sharing a few photos. I don't have the balls to open the caseback and take photos of the movement, so you'll have to take my word that it looks great and performs as well (+6 s/day). Opinions of course more than welcomed.
Of course I had to get a strap from @jankoxxx. Was thinking of going for some lizard skin initially, but decided against it as it would make it too dressy and I'm wearing casual 99.9% of the time.
