Give me a white dial broad arrow GMT with blue hands and a stainless fixed bezel. I'd instantly jizz my pants.

Was just thinking about this yesterday and I came across this epic thread where the OP made the case for it.. makes a ton of sense to me. Omega really needs a wearable true GMT, and the watch market needs a true GMT alternative to the GMT Master II that is 40mm or less, under 13mm thick, with a rotating 24-hour bezel. It really makes sense that Globemaster is the perfect template for it. I'd love to see it available in a variety of classic dial colors - black, white, blue, etc. My only amendments to the design pictured below (from the thread linked above) would be for the bezel numerals to use the Futura font from the OMEGA logo and the minute track of the Aqua Terra. I'd also take the existing Globemaster fluted bezel design as inspiration for the edge of the rotating bezel. Give the people what they want, Omega.

This looks outstanding! But I actually think the Globemaster would work better as a worldtimer since it's more of a dress watch. I think it would be awesome to see a Worldtime Globemaster and a GMT bezel Aqua Terra or SMP 300M.

Nice. One of the all time great threads too.

My only addition is a preference item. I prefer the GMT hand to extend out to the bezel so there leaves no doubt what 24 hour marker it is between or looking at.

A fixed external bezel on a GMT is such a half-measure, and why I wouldn't consider the Tudor Black Bay Pro, or any of Grand Seiko's ~40mm sport GMTs. If rotating were an option, why would anyone prefer fixed??

Definitely true. Also a fixed GMT bezel would be too Wilsdorfy for an Omega. We really just need an updated SMP 300M GMT with a ceramic bezel, no HEV, and multiple dial/bezel color options. I think a black/black, blue/blue+orange, and white/black would be sufficient to start out with. Or maybe even an SMP300 Oreo GMT!

I
I heard a black ceramic 42mm speedy is coming next year - from an Omega Boutique in Nevada.

I was just wondering the other day when Omega was going to update its GSOTM and DSOTM...
Thats one of the last few watches in production that arent METAS certified i think.

I just realized it is the 10th anniversary of the OG DSOTM and also the 6th anniversary for the Speedmaster Racing. Hopefully, these get released at a 42mm size rather than 44.25mm. I would want there to be a steel equivalent to the DSOTM like the OG SSOTM which featured a ZRO2 Dial

6th anniversary doesn't seem like something worth celebrating.

Omega updates by 6 year cycles. Such as the Seamaster 300 current and previous generation and the 9300 Speedmaster and the 9900 Speedmaster Racings. Hence I suspect that the Speedmaster Racing would be updated

Well, the Seamaster Planet Ocean and the Constellation Globemaster would seem to contradict your first statement.

Curious on what kind of model it will be.

I’m guessing

-speedy Tuesday
-professional
-limited availability not limited edition
-exotic case material (ceramic?)
-high price point (€9k++)

New Speedmaster 57 announced. With George Clooney.
I think it's just an insta post for the recently released one;

Yea I saw the speedmaster 57 marketing too this morning and got a little more excited that maybe they added a new one. But it seems to be just a campaign for the current models.

Indeed, I don't think it will be 57' related as Fratello's blog post it self says:
"However, guests of this upcoming Speedy Tuesday Event will be the first to see the next Omega Speedmaster and will discover the next chapter in Omega’s space history."
And since it's space related, it must be Moonwatch related.

Fingers-crossed for a white dialed 3861 😀

There's already a white dialed 3861 😜

Space related may also just mean a new X-33.
