Did this Seamaster PO slip in under the radar? I cannot find anything about it. It seems really interesting - it solves the major issue about the new PO that I did not like - the grey bezel. This one has a black ceramic bezel and a black dial. Wow this is beautiful and at 43.5mm. Did I miss this?

Does anyone have this watch? Do you like it? I have been looking for a diver and I always loved the PO, was thinking about picking up a 2500 PO but this one seems to be it.

This has been out now for a while. Several people own them. Keep poking around the forum and you will find pictures/discussions about this watch.

Yeah, I think I suck at searching. I checked and searched. Found some stuff on the version with the orange rubber integrated into the bezel and also some stuff about the GMT deep backs. I just had not seen this one announced. It is an all black ceramic bezel (not grey) and black dial PO. A pure diver, no GMT function. Maybe a subtle difference but to me, it makes me want to buy this one instead of sourcing a 2500 movement PO. As far as I can tell, this was not part of the Bazel announcement.

Nope it's a master chronometer. Pretty sure it was announced at Basel

When it was announced at Basel it kinda took a back seat to the versions with the integrated rubber dial (flashier dials/color conpmbos). The standard version wasn't advertised on the omega website right away either. As said above, these watches have been out since summer 2016. Go check one out at a boutique. Take a few wrist shots and then give us some feedback. Happy hunting! 😜

I Have one. Bought it new at the start of December. It is indeed a thing of beauty and the accuracy is impeccable - accurate to 1 second after 2 weeks (I set it to an atomic clock).

drool inducing shots. thanks for these pics!! glad they took the fully black route. The contrast between the black areas and the silver is lovely

My feelings exactly. That is what makes this watch.

Definitely go and try one on! The 43.5mm is perfect on my wrist (I am slim but tall). The watch itself is really hefty and solid. I very much like the weight and I miss it when I'm not wearing it. When I went to the OB, I tried on the ceramic updated SMP Bond but kept getting drawn back to the look of the PO, the coin bezel, the thickness, etc - it may not be quite as versatile (ie; dressy) but it has such wrist presence. I was also really torn between the blue bezel/dial steel on steel but ultimately settled for black - more of a classic look and a little more understated - perfect for my personality and tastes 😀 It's a daily wearer for me. I had been looking to get a new one-and-only watch that would go everywhere with me. Omega has always been in my family. My grand father had an Omega Memomaster (oh, the 70s), then a Speedmaster. My dad has a Constellation. Now I have the Seamaster 😀

All the best!
