..So I have a 105012-66CB and in no way can afford a genuine original Omega bracelet for it, so when Forstner made available their version of the flat link band, I ordered one straight away and am absolutely delighted with it, except for the “newness” of it.. I want to match it to the well used look of my Speedy.. Any of you folk have any tips or recommendations of how I should do this? Please post below and I will post pics of process! Meanwhile, this is how it is currently looking..!

Looks great.. I would say just wear it and it will age naturally.

there’s other tricks like putting it into a back of rocks and screws and shaking for a while but that’s of course a bit risky.

to take some of the shine off you could sand it a bit with something like a Garryflex fine abrasive block.

Take it off the watch, and wear it like a bracelet for a few years. Then it will have caught up to the watch...

Agree with the other posters. It looks great! Just wear it and it will age naturally.

It looks great. Do you think you might have preferred fully brushed.
