·I hope they keep on selling the vintage ones. I own the OEM 3861 bracelet and bought the Flatlink, because I am looking for something even lighter. Hence no need for the contemporary Flatlink from my side.

I think they are planning to sell both versions, at least for a while. If I understand correctly, the contemporary one is designed for a different aesthetic, not as a replacement for their original vintage design
Confirmed it’s about 2mm, perhaps a hair over 2mm. See pic of my Apollo 11 bracelet below. Unfortunately I don’t have a caliper so this is the best I can do.
I think the original non-contemporary Forstner flatlink with the new milled clasp is the combination that would be the closest thing to the Apollo 11 of the aftermarket options.
Good catch… agree on the US end links and I have a set on the way to pair up with my Apollo 11.
One word of caution is that I read on another forum that the US solid endlinks are not compatible with the Apollo 11 so I went with the hollow ones. Not sure about compatibility with the Forstner bracelet though so can’t speak to that.
Anyone got a link to the solid endlinks? Means they are better than the ones on the Forstner flatlink?

Personally, i feel like US end links are more inline with original ones shape wise. Each to their own though.
Fully brushed version. Compared to the one posted a couple of pages back (polished/brushed style), the finishing on this doesn't look as refined. I'm on the fence about whether I'll wear this more than the OEM bracelet. It's a change, so it will get some wear:
Is that the contemporary flat link? I like the look of it, I had thought it would be too chunky compared to the original version.
I also have the fully brushed Forstner Flat Link (original) and I am looking to get the new clasp for it - although the brushed / polished does seem to look better finished.
