Last update from my side: it’s back 😀
It took Omega around 1.5 months, so can’t complain as they had to order a new case as well.
Very pleased with how everything worked out!

Great news and glad it worked out. Nice to see a reasonable response, i.e. It took 1.5 months and it was a brand new watch but you're happy that it was sorted out under warranty, instead of getting angry about it! 😀 👍

that's why i buy omega nearly all the time, their customer services are outstanding and they really listen to the customers and look after them

Glad it's back as new. But this is also why my GSOTM is the last ceramic case watch I will own. Two chips and Omega won't do anything about it.

Are you wearing it on the "small strap now"?
My wrist is about 17cm and the small strap works really well.

Yes, on the small strap now. Way better for my flat wrist compared to the standard one 😀
