These kind of watches are not made to break sales records. I think they have the new SMP doing that for them.

Indeed its a nice watch handmade and all that but for that price it would be very hard to convince someone to get this instead of one from the top tier brands.

Nice be tempting in proper yellow gold, especially contrasting the black.

Why? People at this end buy because they like not because it鈥檚 a brand label xyz.
And at this end ie Tourbillon Omega is ultra high end.

Most times it's an investment though... It's highly unlikely this Omega will hold its price over lets say a Patek or a AP

Disagree completely, ie most high end Omega buyers wear them on their wrist.
YouTube and forums may have you thinking this but most people I know with 100k plus watches wear them on their wrist without a thought of resell/investment.

I鈥檓 a trader, I live eat breathe markets, investments, also seen a lot of high end Patek鈥檚 etc on wrists (including on the person beside me as a I type), but outside the internet I鈥檝e never heard of using watches as investments in any serious way.

What do you think watch dealers are doing? There's an entire gray market based on investing in watches. Although, I will admit that it's mostly vintage watches.

Actually, the modern high-end Patek market (read: several hundred thousand dollars and up) is pretty dead, you can't give these watches away. Outside of the Nautilus and Aquanaut, Patek isn't doing well on the modern secondary market. Same goes with AP, the Royal Oak is the only thing truly selling for over list, with everything else highly discounted, especially the abysmal failure that is the Code 11.59.
