There is also a diamond bezel version.

Date that teddy appears is on the 8th.

That is actually a beautiful dial! I wonder how it shines in the light...hopefully somebody does a review! Thanks for sharing as always @AntonisCy!

Wow that's a gorgeous watch.

What's the signicance of Teddy on the 8th?

"The domed gradient blue dial includes a seconds hand in varnished Orbis blue, as well as a date window with a Teddy Bear for the number 8, as a tribute to the cuddly toys that OMEGA gives every young patient undergoing Orbis treatment."

Thanks.

Omega are really upping their game. I already have a soft spot for these Tresor dials. This one takes the cake for me.

Huh this is actually quite attractive, never really cared for the Tresor before but this one's bringing a bit more style to the line.

The only thing i am wondering is why Omega used the Master Co Axial movement (8511) in this model and not the Master Chronometer (8910)
that was recently released for this line.

Idk about you guys but I'm a huge fan of this watch. This is a great edition to the De Ville family, and the fact that it's a charity drop doesn't hurt! Personally, I like the look of the smooth bezel (cant go wrong with classic) but the diamond bezel definitely catches the eye. I found a great article about this new Omega drop that I'm sure any enthusiasts will appreciate: https://www.bobswatches.com/rolex-blog/new-releases/omega-de-ville-tresor-orbis-edition.html

"The latest Orbis-edition watches to join the range come in the form of a pair of Omega De Ville Trésor models. Both timepieces are crafted from stainless steel, measure 40mm in diameter, and are fitted with rich blue dials and matching leather straps. The only thing separating the two Orbis-edition Trésor watches is the style of bezel fitted to them; one receives a classic smooth bezel, while the other is set with brilliant diamonds."

Very informative and interesting read!

Good question! Maybe it's to get rid of left-over 8511 movements? There's a gold bridge on the 8511, whereas 8910 is all steel. The gold-decorated equivalent of the 8511 would be the 8929, but the 8929 appears to be reserved only for Gold-cased Tresors.

Exactly what i was thinking.

The beginning of all numbers of the month replaced with Wingdings! Nice.
