Is it possible to determine the crystal size of this 2505 without removing the crystal? (i.e. based on the case size or other characteristics) It's a 38mm case.

I am willing to buy two or three different sizes if that would cover the possibilities.

Thank you @Archer, coming through ...as always. Do you happen to know if these were signed? And/or a good source? Can an OQW order them?

Current production will certainly be signed, and yes any watchmaker with a parts account can order these.

@Archer Pulled the damaged crystal last week with my watchmaker and measured it at 34.1 mm. I actually forgot to see if it was signed, but seem to remember it was not, and in any case the one being replaced was probably not original. It’s in the shop now.

Sidenote, when I search for the part number I keep landing on a squarish rounded crystal for a DeVille... but maybe I'm doing it wrong. 😀

Well, that’s not what Omega specs for that part number. Make sure you are using PN...

No, you’re right of course. Just so odd that this part isn’t more widely available, even as knock-off …not that I’d like a knock off. Just, relative to how popular this model of watch was for OMEGA. Or maybe I overestimate that.

In any case, @Archer, thanks for your help.

When I sent my lovely 2505 to Omega last year (it was shipped off to Bienne from the local AD) for a full service (nothing other than what I specified was changed), the replacement crystal had an Omega logo (you can see a reflection of it on the dial based on the sunlight).
