Hi all,

my third 168.005 is on its way, as I really want to give a try to the 564, and Onyx - Cross hair version 😀
I’ve got a deal with the seller, and I will pay it as soon as he’ll get it back from his watchmaker.

The case is sharp, plexi will be changed by the seller.

Dial seems great to me, font is ok.
The only thing that make me wondering, is that the vertical cross hair does not seems to cross the star right in his center.
But the vertical cross hair meet the minute marker where it should, and the omega logo in the center.

what is your thought? Does it seems ok to you? Does the star mays have moved a bit? Or is there something wrong with it?

I know pictures aren’t perfect, but I can’t get better at the moment.

Looks like a nice watch. It also looks like it may be the original plexi so personally I would polish the crystal but leave it on the watch.

Thanks you.
What make you thinking it may be the original? The seller will change it as his watchmaker told him it was cracked.

What about the star not perfectly aligned with cross hair? No anything weird to you?

The plexi has an Omega logo in the middle - hard to see but try zooming in. I’m pretty sure it’s there.

I’ll let others here judge the cross hair as my guess isn’t half as educated - the star might have come loose and was reattached at some point, also it seems to be slightly damaged? Either way, if the dial is right - and I’d guess it might be - then that would be only a small downside to an otherwise beautiful watch.

Hi all,
Thanks for answering, maybe I’ve misunderstood @seekingseaquest.
When I’ve rode « the original plexi » I thought he was saying it was the one who was set at the factory. So I was wondering it something shew him it was not a genuine omega changed later but the Original set at the factory back in 66.

I don’t know if it’s the one that was on it when it left the factory, but it seems to be genuine Omega at least. If it’s cracked, then do replace it. If not, I wouldn’t.

Bought this the other day;

From first owners son.

I wouldn´t worry to much about the star not being perfectly aligned
