I’m pretty sure you can’t buy a London Underground ticket one year in advance. It’s just 23 repeated twice. It’s defo this Thursday… !

Its not a real ticket, its marketing flannel. Note the coordinates rather than stations. Note the Q Branch allusion. If the party is meant for tomorrow then half the people invited might not turn up since it is clearly dated next year. 😉 Oops!

Not saying that you are wrong about this Thursday.... but Its not a legit ticket, but it is a proper way to display the date ... 23 Nov 2023.

Before you continue arguing against the US as an important sales market, let's remember that the US alone accounts for about 2/3rds of the sales of all of Europe. So, let's imagine then, that there were a holiday in 2 out of 3 countries in Europe - or for the sake of sales volume let's just say that on this day the UK, Germany, France, Spain, and Italy were all essentially shut down. Stores, restaurants, everything - even more so than Christmas (which is absolutely the case on Thanksgiving Day in the US).
Let's say then that Omega decides to drop a huge release on this day that basically no-one is shopping either in person or online; no-one is even answering the phone at the Boutiques in all of the UK, Germany, France, Spain and Italy. Wouldn't you find that strange?

I suspect you would

That map is by continent but we're talking about by country.

Just look at the first sentence of the report, "As the COVID-19 pandemic affected the United States and other major countries in Europe and Asia, which are the major consumers of luxury watches..."
The US gets a separate call out while everyone else is lumped into a continent.

Just busting @abrod520 s balls 😁

So a Watchco remastered.
8k € I assume. I Will wait till discounts show up.

Then I’d be interested, price point dependant, but NTTD availability would be good too.

This is only going to succeed if they make it available like NTTD. The guy in store wanted to remind me that limited edition Bond watches go quickly… which made me panic thinking it’s LE and limited run. He did say that NTTD might be phased out sooner than we think. So hope is perhaps this replaces it with proper stock.

What if it has some sort of unique caseback design with moving circles to mimic the gun barrel opening of the bond movies? Similar in concept to the Snoopy, a case back with moving parts

Unfortunately, that would make it harder to mass-produce and would increase the scarcity. My hunch is that it will be an updated GoldenEye with the current case and movement.
Picture below for illustration purposes (not my watches).

I can see that it would make it more complicated, but the white circles on the box gave me that idea.

that could be kind of cool. I am excited either way. I just hope its not too in your face with teh Bond branding

Surely if they are updating the Goldeneye watch, that is just the current blue Seamaster, is it not?

Unless they are using the NTTD case but dial being blue waves etc.

Lots of talk on socials about a reedition of the old 300m sword hand etc. Feel that would either be a new case or to now have the HEV

Well, on one hand looks like a blue version of NTTD. On the other hand the backside shows some screws and (very far maybe) a sapphire crystal? On some of the shots the helium valve is visible (just the top hint of it).
