Newly acquired seamaster. Bought it off a friend of mine today new crystal recently fitted do not not no the year it was made all I know its a bumper seamaster with beefy lugs. I paid £50 for it sits on my wrist really well. my friend found it in a house clearance a few years ago he told me he also found a rolex but through it away thinking it was a fake. Here are a few pics for you expert's to give me. A bit more info on it
Thanks Ern.

Nice watch and even nicer price!

Probably a 2767 reference with a 354 movement dating to 1953-55. Need to open caseback to confirm.

Crown is incorrect but otherwise looks good!

Nice watch. Next time you go out with your friend buy him a pint or twenty as he's given you a very good deal there!

I wouldn't change that crown without being absolutely certain it's not original. This type of unbranded crown sometimes appears on older Seamasters. I don't know this model very well so I'm not saying it's correct, just saying be careful.

But if you do change it, make sure your watchmaker returns the originals that you can change it back if you want to.

Thanks for the advice, the Crown that's on it is actually an omega crown but the gold plating has worn on the front I can still see the omega symbol underneath it looks old
Thanks Ern.
