I folks. I hope everyone is having a nice weekend. Today, I bought this beautiful Seamaster Planet Ocean at my local AD.

I've had my eye on this model for a long time, but of course I was distracted by other models and watch brands. However, like with most things, I had to make a decision. After trying the watch on again today I made the final decision with my wife's blessing. I was informed that this is my early birthday and wedding anniversary present. 馃槀

Can't wait to give this beauty some wrist time.

Thanks for having a look!

Need more pictures. What size is this one?
The OP will correct me if I am wrong, but this version only comes in 43.5mm. Two versions either rubber or steel bracelet.

I've actually been looking at Planet oceans and was curious what the true bezel diameter is, considering these have case integrated crown guards.

For me, I believe it's a better value buying the PO with a stainless steel bracelet.

Not sure, Erich. Maybe someone can chime in.

@ErichPryde : The bezel diameter measures 41mm. These watches "wear" a lot smaller than their official 43.5mm spec. Very manageable on the wrist, while still having a very positive presence. In my mind......perfect. 馃憣

Thank you so much for that answer. That's a good dimension.

I'm assuming the PO LMLE measures around 39.5 at the bezel, then? I'll have to look around a bit more for some info

It's definitely feels, looks, wears larger than my 300SMP, but I agree it's very manageable ...at least on my wrist (7.25").

Just made it under the wire. Good choice.
Well, now that you mentioned it, I did ask my salesperson about the tariffs, and he said they were still evaluating the situation. However, he did tell me that their phones were ringing off the hook with established customes like myself. I was going to wait a bit to buy my PO, but I decided to pull the trigger for the reason stated.

I found a measurement online for the 42mm 232.30.42 @ 40.3mm bezel diameter. Not sure if this is the same on the prior 42mm PO but I find it attractive and interesting that this watch has the Speedy professional/60s diver case.

Congratulations! I love mine.

Think about picking up the Omega rubber strap and deployant clasp combo eventually. It鈥檚 not cheap but it completely changes the watch.

Thank you. I purchased the watch with the stainless steel bracelet with the intent to also buy the beautiful two piece rubber strap you mentioned. The math works out better to buy it in that sequence.
