New 3861 Speedmaster - bracelet question

This is my new Speedmaster. Difficult to get the right fit, the best combo is having the extension out. Now it is a little tight, but with another link in and no extension it is too loose. Will it damage the watch or the bracelet if I keep it on the tighter side? It is not extremly tight but not loose..

People wear their watches differently, some do not like to move at all on the wrist, some like it loose where it can slide up and down. I'm in the 'don't like it to move' side of things. As long as it is not cinch tight where you are putting undo stress on the linkage pins wear it as it suits you.

Looks just fine from the pic👍
I personally prefer it a little looser than that and a gauge for me is to be able to slip my little finger under the clasp where the clasp curves under the inside of my wrist.
Also of importance to me is having the folding Deployant as centrally located as possible under the wrist.
