…well, then your progression within the young watch culture was wrong and you'll likely be seen as a weirdo, outcast, and whackjob.
Probably because there's no big railway moment compared to the space program (moon landing and Apollo 13).
Just imagine how bulky that case would look at 36 mm wide and 13 mm thick, like wearing a bottle cap. They’d need to redesign their movement for it to work visually. So, maybe in... 2045?
IIRC, the first generation Aqua Terra at 36mm was 11mm thick. That's with a coaxial escapement and a display caseback. It seems like the thickness of modern Omegas is a deliberate design decision and not the consequence of technical limitations.

A nice no date is always welcome.
I’m as curious as to pricing as I am to actually see the watch. The current 40mm reference 224270 Explorer retails for $7950 after the latest price hike.
I would hope this rings in considerably less. But lately, nothing would surprise me,
Omega's Coaxial escapement is great but the new Rolex Dynapulse escapement is lightyears ahead so the policy pricing for Rolex watches is OK. Even the apparently new Railmaster will not be comparable to Rolex technology, on the contrary Omega will lose more and more terrain against Rolex.
I’m hoping this will be $6k
OP says under $6k, fwiw.
I’ve never seen one in person, but does anyone else remember the XXL version?
I think it was marketed as a Railmaster for a while, then as an Aqua Terra.
Something like 49mm.
If Omega charges more than 6k for the new Railmaster, this means that Swatch Group is in big trouble because somebody who works for the group, spoiled these things and shortly afterwards he was fired. Omega watches made in CHINA???? maybe it's not all a big lie
