Needing help with 502 endlinks

Hey folks,

I have a 7912 bracelet that came with 502 endlinks. The number didn’t ring a bell, so I googled and found - nothing. Well, Rolex endlinks with that number, but nothing from Omega. My list of endlinks /bracelets doesn’t mention 502s, either, and while the forum search doesn’t work for only three digits I clicked through 7912 bracelets and never found another pair. Even our own @Lucasssssss who I felt is an institution when it comes to vintage Omega bracelets hasn’t heard of them - sorry Lucas, hope this didn’t ruin the reputation. 😁

So, does any of you folks know more? Might just be links from some other company for what I know, as I didn’t purchase the strap on a watch and have yet to attach it to one.

Thanks a lot, I’m very curious indeed! Here are some pictures, happy to take more in the natural daylight if necessary. And my apologies, since I haven’t yet worn the bracelet I do still need to clean it.

Im glad you have posted this, I have seen 501 endlinks, and also of course 506, but I have not seen anything in between.

From where you acquired it, and how well it fits, it looks original, and it would not surprise me if it was. I do wonder what watch it fitted on. I would think that it dates from the late 60s/early 70s.

It is unusual that the rear of the endlink is flat with the top curved, and this makes me think that this was a more uncommon endlink, which fitted on a specific case profile for a 7912 and I think if we could find a case profile which fit that shape and was 18mm, it would confirm to me that it was original.

Anyone have any ideas?

The shape of these, curved top and flat bottom, have the same configuration as a Seamaster Cosmic. Ref 135.016 is 18mm.

Thank you two @Lucasssssss and @X350 XJR ! I think a friend of mine should still have one - I'll try to fit the bracelet and post a picture, in case anybody is curious.

Had to laugh, though: I'm intending of using the bracelet on a Speedy and exchange the endlinks for that matter. I'm really out of my depth when it comes to the value of those things, but from what I know, for the money alone 7912s will probably be a rare sight on those small Cosmics. 😁Really didn't expect that.

This looks like it could be a great fit. Would love to see it when it is on, if it fits well I will add it to my spreadsheet.

It's been 2 years, but IIRC @Lucasssssss is now the owner of these, maybe he can enlighten us.

I just bought a 1035 bracelet with these endlinks and can’t find a single thing about them.

I never got anywhere with them, they are still in a box waiting for the right watch to fit on.
