Hello: would like some help and information please.
My parents gave me a Omega Automatic Seamaster 200m/660ft watch back in the 1970's.
The watch was misplaced for many years and I just found it.
I am having problems in finding any information on this watch.
Any information would be appreciated.
The watch is currently running and is gaining about 45 seconds per day.
I emailed Omega and it will cost me approximately $200 US for Omega to send me information on this watch.
If I want it serviced, it will cost $700US and the need to send it to Europe.
Any information would be helpful.
thanks, Rick.

Gorgeous watch but I don't know anything about them. You should be able to find a decent amount of info about it online.

Hi Rick,
This Seamaster looks to be a ref: 166.091, A Divers watch running on Omega caliber 1002. As new, diving tested to 200m. This is mentioned on its dial, and engraved on its case back. This case configuration is called “pilot case” and is same as of its aviation directed brother, the Flightmaster, using same caliber but intended for pilots. Its production dates to the (19)70’s. It usually wears a 1171 stainless still bracelet at 22 mm, or a “Shark” mesh one.
Wear it well and see good times with it.
