    Hi,
I'm new here and just got my first Omega. I'd like to get some feedback on my new toy and if someone could help me date it.
I searched the web and I can't find the same dial. So i wonder if it's an original...
The screw-back watch is marked 2576-1
    Caliber 342, serial n°11459768
The dial is marked "Omega Automatic" at 12 and "swiss" at 6
    Thanks for your help

    Hi,
I added a better picture, can someone give some feedback on the dial? Does it correspond to a model 2576-1 and a caliber 342. Thanks a lot! IMG_2059.JPG

Hi - welcome to OF and congrats on your first Omega! The 2576 is a good place to start - substantial case, beefy lugs and as a reference a collectable watch. The dial pics you posted are not definitive but it does look like the dial was refinished at a point in time. The dial config with the subsecond dial is consistent with a 2576. Based on the movement serial your dates to around 1948. The movement looks tired and would benefit from a service. Enjoy the watch and I trust this won’t be your last foray into vintage watch land.

Thanks for your answer! It will be serviced in the next few weeks. I can't find the same "9" in the dial pictures I see on the net. Anyway I like it!
