Need help finding a Longines case

Hi all, I recently got into the watchmaking hobby because my son wants to become a watchmaker and have fallen down the rabbit hole. I have purchased my 1st Longines dial and 23z movement from ebay at an excellent deal. It works and everything, but I can't seem to find a case that would fit it. The dial is ~24mm and 4mm thick with movement. See the pictures attached. Thank you for all your help.

I think you may also need better hands. I assume this is from a ladies watch.

It's hard to see from the photos, but if the crown is gold-plated/capped, most likely this movement/dial came from a gold case that was scrapped, and the markets are flooded with these recently because of the price of gold. For that reason, it won't be easy to find a replacement, but you can just keep an eye open on eBay, etc.

Thanks. From what I can find, its a 1950s mens watch that was cased in 10K gold possibly 18K. And I am sure that has been scrapped. I found a couple of options on ofrei.com. I am waiting for those to be shipped and I'll find out. Thanks for your help and reply.

Got it, I misunderstood. I thought you were looking for an original Longines case. If you are handy, you can probably find a case that will fit if you are willing to fabricate spacers as needed.

Dan,

You didn't misunderstand, that is still my goal but until then I like the dial so much I'm going to make it work.
