Dear members,

Hopefully you can advise me on understanding which dials have been used in the 105.003-63 series.
According to the Moonwatch Only book, the reference dial A6 or A7 was most common.
Typically, the A6 dial with No T's and high Swiss Made and the 29 sec marker in line with extreme right of letter D in Swiss Made. Although, I found an 105.003-63 (proven by caseback stamp and watch number), a dial which shows a low swiss made, more in line with the A5 dial ( 105.003-62). Anyone experienced similar? Could it be a transitional dial? Many thanks!

Have you checked it with a Geiger counter? Could it be Radium and not Tritium? How does it behave under UV-light?

IMO its for the 105 002 - 62 - maybe its a typo in your post as there is no 105 003 - 62

Under UV light, the lumen light up shortly and disappears afterwards. Unfortunately I do not have a Geiger counter at home.
Could it be a service dial?

I would be happy with that dial…as it’s good for 105.002 and 2998-3..6X…
Agree, but I am not sure whether this dial is also applicable for a 105.003-63. Have never seen a 'low swiss made' on a 105.003-63 reference.

The OP watch shows strong indications of intervention.

Therefore, in the absence of a consensus that examples of this dial being seen on original 105003's, my valuation would be based on this watch being made up of parts from more than one source.

This might imply that the watch is in your possession. Is that so, @DogmaT ?

No, but have asked the seller to use the UV light.
