Hey Folks,

Got this 2179/5 today, can someone share any thoughts on the watch . Case/movement/caseback seems legit for the civilian version , but dial and hands are intresting ? Cal 30T2SC

Dial is a crude redial. Looks there is at least a missing bridge in the movement.

I think most Ref. 2179/5 watches originally had the military radial dials, but not all.

Crown is also incorrect. The crowns on these watches were unsigned. The seconds hand is also incorrect.

If you have the ability to return this watch for a refund, you should take it.

Unfortunately, it's a mess. Unless you paid almost nothing and need it for parts, this would not be a keeper.
