Need advice on Titanium SMP 300 screw-in crown

Have loved this watch since I bought it in 2000. 24 years of near daily wear.

Well, the screw-in crown threads have finally gone bad. Frankly, I’ve been very careful with it for 20+ years, but I guess I rushed it one day. Have tried and tried to get lined up right but I can now only get about a half turn.

is this something a local watchmaker can address, or best to go back to Omega for a full service (which I did about three years ago). Is the Titanium more susceptible to this?

Thank you for any advice!

An independent Omega Certified watchmaker would be able to replace the stem tube with the correct OEM part. Could pair that up with a movement service, if needed.

Needs both the case tube and crown replaced. Looks like a 22318000, so if that is the case the parts needed are:

Crown - 069TI42147M

Case tube - 090ST1232

Cheers, Al
