I got a watch that needs a new crystal as it is cracked. Too big for bezel I think. Is there a specific designation for these. I’ve included pics of the bezel. I’m assuming it needs to be pressed in from the back.

Uhhhh, what kind of watch would help us to help you! Pics of the case maybe, too.

it’s a Zenith. The bezel shown snaps into the case

Guessing it's something from the 60s? My Seamaster crystal ring snaps into place in a similar fashion. I had a moncoque Cosmic that was a bit more involved.

Can you post a photo of the top side of the bezel?

the top is indicated by the arrow. The original was pushed in from the other side and was on a bit of an angle and cracked. Too much pressure. I’m now wondering if a compression crystal just sits in that top part. I’ve never seen a Zenith case like this before

I have a number of Omegas with removable bezels and they use a plain compression crystal which is I suspect is what you need as well.

thank you very much. Now all I need is a rose gold colored second hand to complete it. Cheers
