And here's a clue.. It stars Jack: and here's a great image with the director (one of the greats, who died on the same day as Ingmar Bergman) taking the piss out of Jack:

Sadly no one got this I thought Jack Nicholson would give it away.. It's a really great film called The Passenger.

I remember first seeing this when I was a kid
it was simultaneously horrifying and arousing
Set in London, let me know if you need any more clues

Mick Jagger was originally in this, but ended up on the Cutting Room Floor,
But this film very nearly ended in murder on set:

Yep! I just finished reading a book of interviews with Herzog and I hadn't realized they'd been shooting for weeks when things fell apart with the original leads.

I can't imagine powering through and finishing the project after something like that.

My guess was purely based on the costuming and a deranged looking Klaus Kinski. from what I’ve understood this was one of the most grueling productions in the history of cinema!

That is correct!!
Both Jason Robards and Mick Jagger ended up on the Cutting Room Floor, and Hertzog tried to murder Kinski.

That's so deceptive.. Long Good Friday??

absolutely right!! One of my faves, couldn’t tell you how many times I’ve seen it. Also, basically a one-stop casting shop for every Guy Ritchie film of the early 2000’s 😎

Yes, it's a brilliant film!! and they were absolutely right about the Docklands.. Great cast and so many of them did end up in Guy Ritchie films apart from Jeff the ended up in Casualty if I am not mistaken..

I know it's not technically my turn, but how's about some new blood in this fun thread?
