It’s ok, it’s a good Sunday afternoon film.
I saw it on tv in ‘99 or 2000 and as I didn’t recognise the “Scottish castle” I deduced that it was a fake that had been built for the film.
I was over in Ireland in 2009 and ended up driving past Dunguaire Castle and pulled up and stared at it for 5-10minutes before I realised that I’d seen it in a film.

·Quick work! I took snapshots trying to identify the watches they wore. Failed to get any clear enough.
Burning aircraft looks like a Hurricane, so I'd guess Dunkirk (the recent one).
