U got it maing!!! The action IS the juice!

I watched it again a few weeks ago..
It's funny because when it first came out I wasn't that keen on it, I remember thinking that it was such a shame that it wasn't made by someone like Martin Scorsese..
I thought it was a real missed opportunity not to have fully utilized two of the greatest actors of their generation; that it was typical Michael Mann, too much style over content, with an overbearing soundtrack etc. but I have to say it's a film that's really grown on me over the years.. and I must mention for Ashley Judd, who I thought was absolutely fantastic in that role, she nailed it.

Okay so this is an audio-only clue, in fact, it's a track that for me has become completely synonymous with this film and I wonder if it's the same for anybody else, it also has other references that make it particularly relevant to this kind of forum 😉

This gotta be Zodiac, and I have the same association between the two. Great direction to take the thread, BTW!

I'm gonna have to think about a song clue as I realized they are all pretty easy Scorsese films, lol.
Ok, here goes another:

That one has got me really thinking.. plenty of clues, a strange-looking small tanker vehicle with Cow horns (possibly milk) and a number plate that doesn't look European or American,, an unusual Road layout, an unbelievable amount of suspended cables all over the place, and potentially Walter Segal-method architecture.. possibly a bit impoverished, but technologically advanced.. I'm a bit stumped at the moment, but that's a very very good thing!!! 👍 .. and I'm supposed to be working right now😁😁😁

The overhead wires, stop lights and building quality remind me of the area around the Port of Oakland, but the road markings and flow of traffic are clearly not American. Hmmmm... such a puzzle!!!

It looks like a woman holding up a bottle of milk, wearing an apron, maybe a chef's apron??

Happy to act as a fun albeit not very productive distraction! 😁

Go east, young man! Go far east!

is she trying to return the milk to the milk truck?
Not milk, but yes she is wearing an apron and she is asking one of them to help her. To give her guidance, to be a teacher.
I'll post another screenshot later if those clues don't help 👍

That makes sense it looks like a 1980s Japanese truck, together with other clues that look very East Asian, if you're talking about the noodle restaurant Japanese film I think it's called Tampoodle??, It's one of many on my list but I've not actually seen it.

Ok, so part of this Bartok piece is used to brilliant effect as the score in an absolute cinema classic, can you guess what the film is?
More clues, to follow given if needed 😉
