I have this two Omega crowns with a symbol similar to the ones on the Naiad crowns, but not exactly alike(?).
Does anyone know what this is and for what model they are for?

The crown is 6mm in diameter and come from an old closed down watchmaker.

To me the finishing looks very suspicous. But I would wait for the opinion of some experts on this topic.

Agree, the granular aspect of the surface is weird, could be either plated or fakes. You should see what the tap size is , the three most frequent are 0.9 , 1.0, 1.20.

Is it 26 teeth? the very first 2915 crowns were 26 teeth, rather that the more normal 24. The collet was however protruding from the crown, unlike this, ad was 6.75 diameter.

The "Naiad" type is not characterised by the Mercedes symbol, only Naiad in the first three-four years had that. After about 60-61 Naiads did not have it.

Yes I agree on the finish to be different from the ones I have seen but I have a hard time finding correct ones in macro shots.

My caliper is not the best one but outer diameter looks to be 1.2mm and inner 1.0mm

I count the teeth to 26, the thickness of the crown is 3.2mm

Here below is a correct one for 2915-1. Please note the crimping of steel under each teeth, typical of genuine Naiads. Yours does not have that, which indicates reproduction crowns.

Thank you, what do you think these crowns are? Fake? Service parts? Original but for another model/market?

Of course just my opinion - they are reproduction parts, fake. But happy to be proven wrong.

There are sellers right now on eBay listing several of exactly the same crowns , 26 teeth , O mega symbol not sharp etc - who claim however that are genuine.
