My wife (a lady in her 60's) asked if I could get her an automatic watch for day to day use. For the past few years she has been using a manual wind.

Anyway, I settled on this.

9k Garrard Date Automatic. 33.5mm 1977 Cost to me with new strap $300.

I put it in a box and she's over the moon.

It would be cool if my wife were into watches it would actually be fun picking out a gift instead she has grown to dislike them due to my watch OCD. Nice pick up for your wife.
