Looks like they read OF and did an exact replica of Steve’s watch. Except again too big at 40mm 🙁

Yes, all of the Svalbard watches are 40+mm.

What a facinating watch. Took me a moment to realize what dog was. And figured it would be explained downthread. As it was.

Was it an AS 1187 movement? That and the later AS 1686 have become favorite movements to play with.

Too bad it is an automatic.
More pics of it. I bought it during the summer and never wore it. I’d rather wear the original, but the new one looks nice. Similar in size to my FOIS. It came with a metal band, packaged separately. There is no lume on the modern one. Interesting considering how much Jardur used.

It was so inexpensive that I wanted to have it as a companion to the real one.

Now I am wanting to know what gearing is used to make the AS movement keep 24 hour time?

You will need to consult your fellow watchmakers. I only know how to set them and how to tell time… 😀

I think it's the same movement that's in the new Seiko 5kx GMTs.

Hi Guys, This may be a dead thread by now however I saw quite a bit of interest on this watch. I actually got this watch recently and put it up for sale on ebay. Its not the Jardur branded one, but the original Superior branded. I know these dont show up often. But if you type Superior Seatimer into ebay search, it should show up. Thanks!
