Hello all members.😀

This thread I will mainly focus on the constellation model with the “pink gold, black dial and arrowhead markers” which is quite very uncommon and one of the most desirable watches, in my opinion.
First, “pink gold” or “PG” is sometimes referred to as red or rose gold (RG).

My research found this nice watch with the “steel case” owned by Art (@Dr No ), which I believe the reference was 2852 with caliber 505.

Another perfect and very rare example of “18k pink solid gold case” was owned by Mike (@MSNWatch ), which I believe the reference was 2782/2799 with caliber 354.
Moreover, both came with the waffle or textured dials too.😉

The last example I found was the uncommon “pink gold capped case” owned by Paul (@Pahawi ).

At first, I have the question why I could not find other example of the “pink gold capped” case with the black arrowhead markers.

My research found only this one, however as discussed with the experts it should not be the original dial as mentioned in the description.😲

Also, I believe that it’s the gold capped case, not 18k rose gold / stainless tell as described.

I still have the question why I couldn’t find any example of the black dial, rose gold capped constellation with arrowhead markers (like @Pahawi ), but in an earlier 4-digit non-date models such as the reference 2648, 2652, 2887 and 2852.

How lucky I am !!

Today I would like to share an example added to my collection which is the uncommon black dome dial with pink gold arrowhead markers in the “pink gold capped case”.
The reference was 2852 with the movement number 15,765,xxx using caliber 505 (24 jewels). The production date was around 1958 as compared with examples with an extract from the archives.

Please be informed that the tone color of medallion and the “flat-feet” original thick decagonal crown are well matched. I also had the pink gold buckle which I believe it’s the correct for a period of time.

More closeup pictures:
It should be noted that the “pink gold” color of all hands is well matched with the omega symbol, also those hour-markers.

My wrist shot:

Finally, duo of the yellow and pink gold.
Please note the difference between color.😀

Thanks in advance for many experts that I asked via PM.

So sorry if I didn’t include your watch on my research, please don’t hesitate to share yours (any steel or gold case + black dome or pie-pan dial+ pink gold arrowhead markers)

It is my pleasure to hear your valuable feedback.
Best,
Teerapat

Nice one - congrats T.👍

Mine came with a similar RG buckle too:

PS. Yes I know, the second hand on mine is not original - still looking....

Looking forward to see more examples...😀

Finally, I was fortunate to acquire an uncommon pink gold BOR bracelet, reference 1502, with No. 11 end links.

Please note the excellent match among the thick decagonal crown, the case, the newly fitted bracelet, and the buckle.

My wrist shot:

Once again, photographing a black dial is challenging. Also, although the fonts on many black dials tend to fade over time, those on my watch remain intact. 😀

Very beautiful watch you have. This is my black dial Connie. I don’t think the hands are original, at least two of them, due to the lumen and there is no t at Swiss made. What do you think of the watch? 😀

Welcome @jacobDK

Very nice watch. 14381?
The hands have been relumed but there is lume at the ends of the indices.
However, the watch is too early for Ts and the indices lume could possibly be radium.

@jacobDK Congratulations on your original black-dial watch.👍🏼 However, the hands appear to have been relumed.

As the two experts have mentioned, your watch is most likely a reference 14381, powered by caliber 551.

Ts appeared around about 1962/63.
Before that there is no lume designation on Omega watches.
In the period from the late 50s up until Ts appear, the lume can still be tritium but it can also still be radium - there is no hard and fast date rule.
Radium tends to look darker but unfortunately tritium that has been subjected to moisture can also appear very dark.
With a 18,57m serial -which is around mid-late 1961- Omega should have changed over to tritium by then.
There is no real problem with radium unless you are opening the case.
The watch can be tested using a Geiger-Müller counter if you feel the need to.
