After my multi year Omega watch hobby absence, I now have two nice Omegas. The modern PO is my daily. Now looking forward to finding a nice 39mm omega. Thinking about this yellow oddity. Has anyone owned and actually kept this yellow version? ..

Sounds about right, it's sometimes called the schumacher model, not to be confused with another 39 mm omega model with the same name.
I tried one on years ago, the seller told me he couldn't sell it because of the dial- now strangely, I want one....

Never owned nor seen one in person, but I love that dial colour.

thanks for your comment. Everyone says it an odd color, but even Rolex now has these bright/odd color dials. I've never purchased from Japan, but that is where one is listed in the bay.... who knows

I don’t think it’s an odd colour at all.

Regardless of whether these bright colours are “in” or not, if you like them you should wear them. That’s what I think 😀

good point, it was years ago when I almost pulled the trigger on this one at a watch show. Now I am seeking all of those missed buys.
