I finally was able to convince my close friend to sell me this beautiful 1964 Rolex 1601 with white gold bezel. What's nice is the original black gloss gilt dial has turned tropical which gave the watch a unique character. The watch is awesome looking specially under the sun. Another great addition to my collection.

The watch was previously owned by Italian vintage Rolex collector stefano mazzariol until my friend acquired it from him.

Matter of fact i still do. I was thinking of shipping it to England and ask RM to auction it. Have not used it cuz we are not allowed anymore, to register right hand drive cars in our country.
