8k for a quartz CWC diver???? Seems high for a mechanical one, and I thought there was no mechanical ones in the mid 80’s.

I saw a 1980 automatic sell for 8k and quartz for 3k - interesting IG post here from CWC where they mention the last auto selling for 10k

I see on MWF you are already watching the ‘81 Auto CWC coming up for auction today.
It will be interesting to see what it makes sans engravings.
Id guess still £6k+

I only have my quartz SBS left as my nuke-sub chrono went to another home. I was also very lucky to own an 88 SBS for around a week !
