I'm wondering if there are any other CWC fans out there in the OF ether?
After a quick search I was surprised to see no mention.

To kick things off, here's my 1980 Fatboy. A lovely little issued watch that always puts a smile on my face.

I have since sold this one, but it was a great favourite and very regular wearer over more than twenty years of ownership:

Not vintage, but a very faithful reissue from last year. The 1980 RN Diver.

Always planned to get one of those, but the price when they did eventually release was above me. You have the best lume option there, looks fantastic!

I'm a CWC fan too, own 3 currently(a 1980 and an '82 fatboy as well as an RN Diver, oh and a stopwatch) but used to own the 70's pilot chrono reissue aswell, which I've always regretted selling. Used to own a '93 G10 but sold that one as I prefer the fatboy cases so it rarely got worn.

Couple pics of mine that I have on the PC.

I absolutely love these little watches and plan to add another at some point(I'd like to think the '80s RN reissue same as mblease example but would need to hope for a good deal second hand I think)..

The Fatboys are so great! I have exactly the same years as you 80 and 82, would love an 81 (birth year) however seem to be quite elusive.

The '81 was the navigator wasn't it? They are more rare but I've seen a few for sale over the past year or so.

The 1980 is by far and away my most worn watch, love wearing the thing and they can sure take some knocking about.

Yes! With a date window. It’s on my eBay watch list. Just a matter of time and patience I guess.

Probably my most worn CWC has to be my current issue SBS. It’s been on many adventures with me

Yeah you'll find one with a bit of persistence. As long as you aren't looking for one of the non-lumed submariner ones, now those are rare!

From the internet, it appears to be part of a small batch issued to the British Royal Navy in the early 80s, but some collectors have also suggested that it’s made by Dodane (France) for the Hong Kong Government. In any case, I purchased this watch as a poorman’s equivalent of a Omega ‘T’ Military 300 SeaMaster. But ended up not wearing it because of its excellent condition, so decided to sell it.
