Send it back. Should be easy enough to align the hands. Call first and make sure Omega sends you a shipping label.

The look of death…now that is a horror story about to begin.

"You post this picture of me in the sink online, and I will defile your pillow while you sleep"

Like when I say someone's a dick, I don't mean they are literally a walking penis.

EDIT: Perhaps this was too much. It's meant to be a joke, which is risky on the internet.

Being somewhat ADHD myself, and perhaps compulsive, I sympathize with anyone with their own issues. But it's just a watch forum for goodness sake. Plus, it's OF, which is comfortable with a bit of teasing.

I guess I should leave comedy to the professionals.

My apologies to the OF. The only dick was me.

FWIW, I didn't take your comment seriously. Neither your posting history here nor your in-person communication would suggest it was.

We're all human.

I can’t believe (or maybe I can) Omega fanboi defenders and apologists trying to justify this.

Well, I can't speak for everyone here but I'm not trying to defend the issue at all. Omega should fix it, and they probably will fix it. I totally understand OPs frustration with the fact that they got their watch back and it isn't fixed properly.

To kind of carry on to the comment I made about @pdxleaf 's comment... we really are human. I engaged the original poster because of his use of the phrase "so many" when discussing issues with Omega watches. However, I think that phrase is a result of his frustration because of his situation, and so I should extend the same understanding to his comment.

Walk into an AD/OB and examine watches in the display. You’ll see issues with hand alignment, bezel alignment, indices off centre, He valves that don’t close shut, ink dial print problems, date wheel/window alignment, patchy lume, and more. I’ve seen each one of these problems personally and read many more on forums.

So many of their watches do indeed have issues. That said, the VAST majority do not. Why is this difficult to comprehend?

Ultimately, this is to be expected of any mass produced product. However, it is frustrating to see marketing campaigns focused on precise manufacturing and accuracy, like the one below.

I, for one, totally agree with you YVR. I can`t give you an answer to why it is difficult for some to comprehend that products have flaws. Maybe its because some try to identify with their luxury product, and if you find flaws in the watch, you find flaws in them. The expectations is of course higher when someone buys a luxury product at a premium price, but luxury company's cut corners too. That is just the nature of the marked and production under capitalism, of course they hope to find the right balance of sales and call backs not to hurt the image they are selling,

Now , this is Alexander, he is an old gentleman. He have lost his hearing and do not like to go out in bad weather. (much like many of us) He is a rescue cat, he rescued him self when he jumped in my neighbours window and found a good retirement home. He likes a good petting and don`t care if I post his picture on the net.

I think we all understand that. I also don't believe that Omega is really worse in this regard than other similar brands are.
