Looks great @Spikedlee

You buy watches like I buy toilet paper. Good on you brother.

Quick question. Did you go in, mind made up, exclusively to buy the blue 300M or did you debate which of the 4 standard edition colors to buy? There is a lot of indecisiveness going around (myself included) the forums because the white dial is super hot right now, and people who thought they were going to grab a gray/blue/black dial are getting seduced by the white dial.

I agree the stock bracelet screams 90's to me, but I still think I'm going to buy it on the bracelet and then add the rubber strap.

I was pretty much set on blue but I had to go see it in person to be sure. I have had so many black watches I was just ready for a change. I already have a white Daytona so white dial was out. Diversity was just key to me to allow for a good rotation every week.

Is this the original buckle of your SM300 rubber on the 1st picture of your Captain America NATO? If yes, what鈥檚 the size of the buckle? I assume it鈥檚 18mm....

This clasp is HUGE.

I find it to be terrific, possibly the most comfortable bracelet I've ever worn. While I have average sized wrists, they are on the flatter side so that likely plays a role. To each their own.

I like the stock bracelets...it is what makes them different. I believe they fit well with the look and design without trying to be a Rolex. Why buy a watch that you hate everything about the most personal part? If you prefer the taper of the Rolex...buy a Rolex. Luckily there are hundreds of bracelet and strap options out there on other models and aftermarket that will fit nicely and are of high quality. Are you a hand model? 馃槈

That SM 300M Pro is gorgeous. The bracelet would bother me if its heavy but I believe a good dive watch needs to be on rubber strap, preferably an OEM.

UPDATE:

For those of you saying the Milanese was too dainty on the Seamaster, I just got in a 3mm thick version which is about 1mm thicker than the one pictured and it's pretty much the same thickness as the OEM NTTD band. Take a look:

Only difference is that the thicker one is polished and the thinner one is brushed. Both are equally as secure and well constructed. Definitely a contender against the fixed adjustment NTTD and all for $19.99.

Glad your date changes perfectly. I bought the black dial and the date wheel wont advance even if you use the hands it just clicks. Had it for a week and just sent it back for a refund. Going to go with another brand I think. Anyway I had already ordered 2 nato straps from watchcandy very reasonbley priced and high quality. They have some that will go with blue.

Great post! I completely agree the Seamaster bracelet is bad. Love the heavy-duty Milanese.

My guy, I can't unsee those palm calluses ...
Apparently, the person in the gym is a frequent guest. At the same time, the horizontal bar is his favorite exercise machine. This is very commendable.

That black & grey work is top-notch my man. The white ink highlights are supremely well done. That looks like one hell of a piece from a very accomplished artist.
