I should add that thats brown not black though.
Brown would look nice, too, I think. I liked the black one that was on JohnSteed's 'Ed White' below, but I don't know what that one is...

I'm still trying to settle on a temporary strap, and this one might do until I find a better quality vintage style. Originally, this one was a medium blue, but with age, it is turned more dark charcoal blue; might bring out some of the bezel color.

Better than the black with white stitching I had on before, don't you think?

Or, there's also this blue shark:

Maybe the shark's a bit much; I'm thinking a dark, dark blue with light brown stitch, or a dark brown with blue stitch would look nice!

I love how you started this, the two watches on joke is great ahaha

I'm glad you were entertained!

One of the reasons I will never go back to the other forum(s) is because of the great sense of humor that I find from the members here. If I can contribute even a little bit of the same, then I will take even more satisfaction from knowing it, thanks!

Cheers for the Bulang & Sons link oddboy.
Just picked up one of these (a major splurge for me 😬 ) for my '69 Speedy.

Think there's one left.

Can see what you mean by the stitching complementing the lume on the example you gave, but that style still seems just a little too modern for me, although I do admire the many similar ones that are sported here.
And anyway, Dougie pinched the last one. 😉 [Hope 20 goes into 19 😗 ]

I really like that one,^^^^ too! I ordered the one oddboy recommended, and also the black with tan stitch, but now I wish I'd gone for that one, too... can never have too many cool, well-made straps.

Thanks alot, guys, for the link! Only downside is waiting 2-3 weeks for it to get 'stateside'...

It'll be worth the wait when it comes. They are excellent.
