image.jpg doing a little hunting around I came across this Waltham diver. I find it extremely clean for its age. Just a little pick up to wear without having to worry about. It’s my only automatic diver and it’s a good size, I find some divers too big and chunky. It’s very important I have a couple divers since I never go near water. Damn sorry about the horrible picture. At least you get an idea. I promise one day I will put up a good picture it just won’t be today.

If using the diver for its purpose was a requirement for owning one...I would have none. Thankfully, it’s not!

Yay!! Walrus got his first vintage diver!!! It’s a lovely piece and with a stainless case, good looks and Swiss auto movement- what’s not to love!

Good point, perhaps I should change it to eggman but someone here sent me the cool avatar I have (greatly appreciate it) I forget who sent it to me as I was in the middle of getting scolded for post farming with the 300 pics of my beat up Vostok.

Next on my list is a moonphase and a gmt as I don’t need either of those complications

99% of the members here don’t “need” hacking either (are we seriously coordinating bombing runs over Berlin??) but that doesn’t stop many from thinking that’s a priority.

Have it paid off in 2040;)

I have yet to add a JLC to my collection, but if I wanted a moonphase- they are the brand I would go for.

Ok got it back. I like the orange second hand. Gotta do something about this cheap strap but it’s ok for the moment image.jpg

what is the lug width? I bet that would look like the bee's knees on a stainless mesh.

The Ultraman is clearly an homage watch.

I gotta check on the size. It’s nice sometimes the divers I find are a little too big. Good idea on the mesh, it’ll look nicer than rubber. I’ll hunt something down next week. When I got it it was running extremely fast. Don’t know if it was magnetized. The seller offered to take it back but I knew it could be fixed. Service was only 80 bucks on this one, the watch maker likes my business and said it was a very basic movement so I got of cheap. He does a great job every watch he has done keeps up with my iPhone time.

Here is an at work action shot. I’m stocking narcan had to use a dose on one of the guys last week. Went from damn near overdose to normal in about 10 min. Gotta be careful though it only works for 30 minutes or so and if they did something strong like fentanyl they could still die when this stuff wears off. I bet this is the first watch shot involving narcan, I impress my self with my creativity image.jpg

You can also have fun with Nato’s on these- the orange hand gives a pop of color so you can play off that. Willing to bet it’s an 18mm- if 19mm you options are limited unless you can cram a 20 into it.
But BandRbands does a nice selection in 19mm at reasonable prices and they’re great for the money
